After nearly 26 years in the Marine Corps, serving in both the enlisted and officer ranks, Dan has a passion for mentoring and serving veterans. He also served as a Military Assistant in the Office of the Deputy Secretary of Defense, which provided unique insights into the Department of Defense, and with Wounded Warrior Policy issues.

Since retirement, Dan has worked in the Defense Industry supporting Space and Naval Warfare Systems Atlantic, and also as a consultant in the energy industry. He is well versed in leading efforts to improve processes, developing solutions to complex problems, and managing program costs.

Volunteer service has been a regular part of his life as he is currently involved in his church as well as volunteering with the Big Brothers program.
